About the Event
In this session we will think about autism and neurodiversity, in a relaxed and supportive environment. We will discuss differences in communication and social interaction, sensory needs, routine and structure and passionate interests. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion, and sharing ideas. The training will be delivered by Amy Phipps, social worker of 20 years, autism trainer and mum to her 11-year-old autistic son.
Feedback from previous courses:
"Thanks so much for the training....I learnt so much and would definitely be up for more! You were SO kind and generous with your time and expertise"
"Amy was absolutely fantastic. So down to earth, great lesson pacing, encouraging, relatable and knowledgable. She made it so easy to ask questions and helped our group open up and get to know each other as well as learning about autism. Honestly just the most informative and welcoming environment"
